"Social Forces....

... wrote Engels, are like natural forces, and they act blindly, forcibly and destructively so long as we do not understand and reckon with them. But when once we understand them, when once we grasp their action, their direction and their effects it is up to us to subject them more and more to our own will and by means of them to reach our own ends."

Damn, Engels should have been born in THIS age of social media, don’t ya think?

Thomas's Entrepreneurial Blog!

I'm launching this blog, just to have a place to ruminate, to publicly pontificate, bore with bombastic balderdash and overall just have fun doing what I like to do.

I like playing. But I don't just like playing anything. I've found my tastes gravitating. Thats something more I need to think about, but to characterize them, they have become scattered. This is a problem for me. I hate being scattered or having to divide my attention. I love the feel of immersion.

For example I'm reading "The Crippled God" By Steven Erikson, and I hate reading it in little snatches here and there. I want to read it ALL! and Now! but more importantly I want to enjoy it. I can't enjoy it if I can't immerse myself in it.

I wonder if this is a problem for many people.
